About
Dr. Abhisek Parida is working as Assistant Professor at the Department of Electrical Engineering, Institute of Technology, Nirma University. Dr. Parida graduated in Electrical Engineering from BPUT Rourkela, Odisha. He received his MTech degree in Electrical Engineering (Control and Automation) and PhD degree in Electrical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology (NIT), Rourkela in 2012 and 2021 respectively. He served as Assistant Professor, Siksha 'O' Anusandhan (SOA) University during 2012 - 2015. He joined as SRF for a DST-SERI funded project in Electrical Engineering department at NIT Rourkela in 2016 which led to the development of a 10 kW Grid-connected prototype system and proposing of various control strategies. Dr. Abhisek Parida has published several International / National journal and conference research papers. He is a reviewer of prestigious journals of IEEE, IET and Elsevier. He is a life member of Indian Society For Technical Education (ISTE) and International Association of Engineers (IAENG). His areas of interest are Control Systems, Renewable Energy, PV systems, Grid Interconnection, etc.
