Prof Hemanth Kamplimath is working as an Assistant Professor in Civil Engineering Department since 2014. He has completed BE degree from Visvesvaraya Technological University, Bangalore in 2011, and MTech degree in Highway Technology from RV College of Engineering, Bangalore in 2013. He is pursuing his PhD degree from Nirma University in the field of pavement materials and design. He has taught courses such as transportation engineering, docks harbor and airport engineering, railway engineering, fluid mechanics, environmental studies, advanced construction, sustainable building technologies and traffic engineering and design. He has presented papers at national and international conferences. He is actively involved in carrying out Environmental Audit of industries in and around Ahmedabad. He was associated with the survey team of CISTUP, IISc Bangalore for the research project performance of flyovers and subways in bangalore city. He has worked with URS-Scott Wilson for a National Highway project titled traffic forecasting for NH-63. His research interests are in the field of pavement design, sustainable materials, transport planning and traffic engineering. He is a member of professional bodies such as Indian Society for Technical Education and Indian Road Congress.
