Technical Article on “Polymer Solar cell” won First position in competition organised by Nandini Chemical Journal organised at National Level in December 2013.
Abstract:Polymer solar cells are built from thin films (typically 100 nm) or organic semiconductors including polymers, for example polyphenylene vinylene and small molecule compounds like copper phthalocyanin, carbon fullerenes and derivatives of fullerene such as PCBM. Polymer solar cells (PSC) are cheaper to produce than conventional inorganic solar cells. Furthermore, they can be fabricated on surfaces of arbitrary shape and are flexible.
