50% seats of the total intake are filled in by the Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC, GoG). These seats shall be filled-in by the candidates who have passed the qualifying examination from the schools located in the State of Gujarat including Diu, Daman and Dadra Nagar Haveli. These seats shall be filled as per the guidelines of ACPC. Candidate has to apply to ACPC, GoG, separately


The 35% seats of intake shall be filled by Institute of Technology, Nirma University under the category of All India seats from the candidates who have passed the qualifying examination from the schools located in India (including Gujarat State).

Cancellation Process

  • Candidate can withdraw the admission up to the last date through login to their account.
  • The candidate has to fill the online cancellation form available in their login and take a print-out.
  • The candidate need to send the fees paid receipts and admission order (original) along with the print-out of the cancellation form to the Institute within one week of the cancellation.

Refund Policy

  • If a candidate withdraws the admission up to the last date, the fees paid shall be refunded after deducting Rs 1000/- as administration charges.
  • If a candidate withdraws the admission after the last date, but before the completion of the admission process at Institute, the fees paid shall be refunded (after deducting Rs.1000/- as administration charges), subject to the condition of such vacated seat being filled up by the Institution from the candidate of respective category, as per the directions of Admission Committee (ACPC) and prevailing rules of UGC/AICTE.
  • If a candidate withdraws the admission after the completion of the admission process at Institute, the fees paid shall not be refunded.


NRI Seats:

  • These seats will be filled-up by the Institute, on merit basis considering 12thboard Percentage.

NRI-Sponsored Seats:

  • These seats will be filled-up by the Institute, on merit basis considering All India Rank (CRL Rank) of JEE (Main) – 2020. The candidate has to appear in JEE (Main) – 2020 Entrance Examination.
  • The online application will be available on Institute website in the month of March/April – 2020.
  • Also the candidate has to obtain minimum percentage as to be declared by ACPC in the subjects Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

Children of Indian Workers in Gulf Countries and South East Asia (CIWGC-SEA)

Person of Indian Origin (PIO or OCI) and Foreign Nationals (FN)

The foreign students can apply to the engineering programs offered by Institute of Technology, Nirma University under one of the following two categories:

Category 1 : Foreign students having non-Indian passports (FN), OR foreign students having non-Indian passport and also having the OCI or PIO card (OCI/PIO) can apply under OCI/PIO/FN Supernumerary category that has 10% seats reserved.

Category 2 : Students whose parents are currently working in Gulf countries or South-east Asia can apply under CIWGC-SEA Supernumerary category that has 5% seats reserved. The students must hold Indian passport, and should have passed qualifying exam either from India or outside of India.

Entrance test is not required and admissions are given as per merit marks of the qualifying exam as per the eligibility requirement. More details on number of seats, eligibility, fees, online application link etc. can be found from the website.
