Team CON-SOL-E 2.0 comprising of undergraduate students of Instrumentation and Control Engineering Department, mentored by Prof Alpesh Patel and Prof Harsh Kapadia represented Institute of technology Nirma University. Next-Gen Sorter system designed and presented in national level automation competition. The team developed NextGen Sorter using Mitsubishi FA components, which can assist manufacturers in quality assurance of the manufactured goods. The system was designed inspect mechanical gears and automotive brake pads using 2 dimensional and 3 dimension (3 D laser triangulation) machine vision . Team “CON-SOL- E 2.0 ” secured 2nd place and become winner of Silver Cup along with Rs.75000/- Prize.
