This award is instituted by GSFC, Vadodara to promote the research in the area of engineering and technology at the postgraduate level. The award is operated through ISTE. Any faculty member of Mechanical Engineering department of any institution in India including the IITs, IISc, NITs, State Engineering Colleges, University Colleges and Engineering Department of universities are eligible for the same. This award is presented for guiding the best M.Tech. thesis in Mechanical Engineering.
