It was the day to remember, cherish, recognize and reward. Institute of Technology, Nirma University celebrated its 25th Foundation Day on October 3rd, 2019 in the august presence of Dr. Anamik Shah, Vice Chancellor, Gujarat Vidyapith. The illustrious 24 years have seen ITNU contributing to the society by giving ethical engineers and research insights. It was a day to celebrate the contribution of the faculty members and students in institution building. Logo of Silver Jubilee Year celebration was unveiled by the chief guest.
Nineteen B. Tech. students were felicitated by Gold/Silver medals. Thirty eight faculty members, eight staff member and fifty students were felicitated on this occasion for their achievement.
A group of 13 students from various departments performed outstanding extension and social activities at different NGOs. They were honored for social cause.
Team “Mitsubishi Eclectic Cup” was also awarded for winning silver cup at national level automation competition held Manav Rachana University-, Faridabad. Team “SAE BAJA” was awarded for securing 2nd runner-up position in overall at GTU ATV championship 6.0. Team “E-BAJA” was awarded for 1st Sales presentation, 1st Endurance, 1st Overall Competition, 1st Acceleration award at SAE-BAJA 2019. Team “ARROW” was also awarded for 1st rank in Overall Performance and 1st rank in Technical Presentation. Team “ROBOCON” was also awarded for their performance at National level as 1st Runner up
The day was also remarkable for it was homecoming of alumni and distribution of scholarships sponsored by them. NITAA “Alumni Award” were also given to the nine alumni members.
