A Nirma University-funded research project A Digital Humanities Project on Presence and problems of Gendered Langauge in Digital World( Computer-Mediated Communication) with special reference to Political Reporting using AI” was awarded the second prize during Digital Humanities in Oxford week during July 11-16, 2022. The presentation was done by Dr Richa Mishra, Principal Investigator of the research work in front of researchers across the globe working on Digital Humanities. Dr Ankit Thakkar, Department of Computer Science and Dr Ratna Rao, Department of Humanities and Social sciences are the other team members of the grant. The event took place on July 11m 2022 in the Natural History Museum of Oxford University. The research project is a multidisciplinary project on Gender, Language, and Politics.
The judges include Dr David Charles De Roure, Professor of e-Research at the University of Oxford, where he is responsible for Digital Humanities in The Oxford Research Centre in the Humanities, and is a Turing Fellow at The Alan Turing Institute and Megan Gooch, Head of the Centre for Digital Scholarship and Digital Humanities Support, Oxford University.
