One of the articles of Prof (Dr) Sudeep Tanwar (as a first author) has won the Dr. KW Wong Annual Best Paper Prize for 2021: Blockchain-based electronic healthcare record system for healthcare 4.0 applications. The paper was selected by an Editorial Board Paper Review Panel from a list of high-quality research papers published in JISA over the past three years (2019-20). It was judged and praised by the panel for its original contribution and impact.
The Dr. KW Wong Annual Best Paper Prize was established in honour of the memory of Dr. Kwok-Wo Wong, who served on the JISA editorial board and sadly passed away in 2015 at the age of 46. The award is sponsored by Elsevier (publishers of JISA) and they also announce a prize of US $750.
This work was carried out by Mr. Karan Parikh (M Tech (NT) 2017-2019 batch), 17mcen16@nirmauni.ac.in, under my supervision and this was an outcome of his dissertation.
So far this paper has received 292 citations as per Google Scholar and 175 as per SCOPUS.
