Dr. Darshna M. Joshi is currently employed at the Government Polytechnic, Ahmedabad, as a Lecturer (GES, Class II) in the Instrumentation and Control Engineering Department. She has more than 7 years of teaching experience. She has completed her PhD in systems biology in 2022 from Nirma University. She got her M.Tech from Nirma University in 2015 and her B.E. from Gujarat Technological University in 2013. She is the recipient of a gold medal in M.Tech as well as in B.E., for securing top position at the university. In 2014?15, she also served as an intern with the National Fusion Program organised by the Government of India at the Institute of Plasma Research in Bhat Gandhinagar, Gujarat, where she worked in the area of cryogenics. Her major area of research is systems biology, in silico modelling, control theory, systems engineering, cryogenics, sensitivity, and optimization. More than 10 of her research works have been published in reputable international and national journals in the areas of cryogenics, control systems, optimization, and systems biology and are indexed and abstracted in well- known databases like Scopus and Web of Science. Additionally, she has presented research papers at numerous national and international conferences. She is a member of the Indian Society forTechnical Education.
