About
Dr Absar Lakdawala is working as Professor, Mechanical Engineering Department. He has more than 24 years in the field of teaching, research and industry. He obtained MTech degree in Thermal Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, in 2007 and PhD degree from IIT Bombay in 2015. He has published more than 23 research papers in the area of Multiphase Flow, CFD, Alternative Fuels, etc. in international journals and presented/published more than 40 papers in international conferences/proceedings. He has successfully executed three research projects as PI/Co-PI funded by Nirma University and GUJCOST in the area of Alternate fuels for IC Engine. He has guided more than 40 PG dissertations. He is presently guiding 05 research scholars towards their doctoral degree. Dr Lakdawala is a reviewer of international journals in the field of Multiphase Flow, Fuel, etc. He is actively involved in consultancy, research, and testing in the area of Mechanical Engineering. His research interests include Computational Fluid Dynamics, Multiphase Flow, Thermal System Simulation and Design and Fuels.
