Prof Ajay Kumar Maurya is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at Nirma University, Ahmedabad, since June 2025. He holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from IIT Roorkee, an MTech in Power Systems from Gautam Buddha University, and a BTech from UPTU Lucknow. His research focuses on Renewable Energy, Power Converters, Ocean Wave Energy Converters (OWECs), and Off-Grid Systems. Prof Maurya has extensive academic and research experience. He has published numerous research articles in reputed international journals and conferences. He also contributes as a reviewer for various indexed journals. He completed an industry-sponsored consultancy focused on the design and development of a linear generator for ocean wave energy conversion.
