Dr. Ajay Kumar Maurya is currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at Nirma University, Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. He holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from IIT Roorkee, India, an M.Tech. in Power Systems from Gautam Buddha University, India, and a B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering from UPTU Lucknow, India. His research interests include Renewable Energy, Power Converters, Ocean Wave Energy Converters (OWECs), and Off-Grid Systems. Dr. Maurya has extensive academic and research experience. He has published numerous research articles in reputed international journals and conferences. He also contributes as a reviewer for various indexed journals. He completed an industry-sponsored consultancy focused on the design and development of a linear generator for ocean wave energy conversion. Additionally, he played a key role in setting up a Magnetic Array Testing Laboratory for VP Energy Pvt. Ltd, Andhra Pradesh, India.
