About
Dr. A. K. Barik is working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering, Institute of Technology, Nirma University. Dr. Barik received his BTech (Electrical & Electrical Engineering) and MTech (Power System Engineering) degree from Biju Patnaik University of Technology (BPUT), Odisha. He was awarded PhD degree in Electrical Engineering (Power & Energy System) from the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Silchar, Assam in 2021. He is having more than 8 years of teaching experience. He is an active reviewer of international journals of IEEE, Elsevier, Wiley, Hindawi, Springer, Taylor & Francis, etc. He also serves as the Academic editor of the Journal of Applied Mathematics, Wiley. His areas of interests are Integration of Renewable Sources in Microgrids, Application of AI/ML & Optimization techniques in Power System. He is a Life member of ISTE, as well as active member of IAENG & IE (I).
