Dr. Amit Pandey was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Johannesburg, South Africa, with a specialization in Power and Control Systems. Dr. Pandey received his Ph.D. from the Institute of Technology, Nirma University, Ahmedabad, where his research focused on robust and optimal control design for nonlinear systems, particularly electromagnetic levitation systems with matched and mismatched uncertainties. He also holds an M.Tech. (Hons.) in Instrumentation and Control Engineering and a B.E. (Hons.) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekanand Technical University (CSVTU), Bhilai. He has more than 9 years of teaching and research experience. His research interests include: Robust and Optimal Control, Sliding Mode Control, Nonlinear Control Systems, Load Frequency Control, Fuzzy Control, and Electromagnetic Levitation Systems. Dr. Pandey has published more than 17 papers in international journals and conferences. He serves as a reviewer for IEEE conferences, IET journals, and Springer journals.
