About
Dr. Amita Chaudhary currently serves as an Assistant Professor specializing in Chemistry within the Department of Chemical Engineering at Nirma University's Institute of Technology. Her doctoral studies were completed at the Chemical Engineering Department of the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. Dr. Chaudhary has authored numerous papers covering topics related to waste management, CO2 sequestration, and green solvents, which have been published in reputable international and national journals. Three books edited by Dr. Chaudhary have been published by Taylor and Francis and Elsevier.
She has also presented and published her research findings at various international and national conferences and proceedings. With a strong dedication to research, Dr. Chaudhary is deeply passionate about exploring and developing new technologies. She holds certifications in JRF-NET and GATE in Chemical Sciences. Notably, she holds a patent for the synthesis of an ionic liquid for carbon capture, a collaborative effort with IIT Delhi and FITT, Delhi. Actively engaged in student Idea Lab projects that focus on interdisciplinary research and minor funded projects. Dr. Chaudhary is affiliated with esteemed organizations like ISTE, ACT and IIChE.
