Dr. Anup Singh is working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics since December 2021. He has experience of more than six years in the field of teaching.
Dr. Singh completed his B.Sc. (Hons.) and M.Sc. in Mathematics from Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Varanasi, one of India’s premier institutions. He has qualified the All India examination CSIR-UGC and GATE. He received his Ph.D. in Mathematics from the Indian Institute of Technology (BHU), Varanasi, in 2019.
His research interests span several contemporary and interdisciplinary areas of applied mathematics, including: Mathematical Modelling, Numerical Analysis Scientific Computing, and Fractional Calculus. Dr. Singh has published 14 research articles in reputed international SCI/SCIE-indexed journals. Notably, 7 of his publications have appeared in category-Q1 journals, including journals with high impact factors.
He is also recognized as a Ph.D. research supervisor/guide in advanced areas of mathematical research. Currently, one research scholar is pursuing Ph.D. under his guidance. In addition to his research and teaching activities, Dr. Singh actively contributes to the academic community as a peer reviewer for reputed international journals.
Dr. Singh has actively presented his research at national and international conferences, engaging with researchers and experts from across the world. Among his notable academic achievements is his participation in the prestigious "9th International Congress on Industrial and Applied Mathematics" (ICIAM 2019), held at the University of Valencia, Valencia, Spain. His participation was financially supported by ICIAM, Spain.
