Mr. Ashutosh Kumar is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at ITNU, Nirma University since July 2026. He is pursuing his PhD in the domain of IoT Security from the Indian Institute of Information Technology Allahabad, completed his M Tech in Information Technology at VIT University, Vellore in 2012, and received his B Tech in CSE from RGPV University in 2010. His research interests encompass IoT Security, Security Auditing and Secure Communication in constrained devices. During his PhD, he was awarded the Erasmus+ mobility grant and spent six months as a visiting researcher at Technische Hochschule Mittelhessen (THM), Germany, collaborating on research in IoT security. He possesses approximately ten years of experience in academia and four years in research.
