Prof Darshita J Shah is working as Assistant Professor in Mechanical Engineering Department since 2001. She obtained BE degree in Mechanical Engineering from Gujarat University in 1999, MTech degree in CAD/CAM from Nirma University in 2006, Ph. D. degree in Robotics from Nirma University in 2024. She has more than 24 years of experience of teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels and about one year of industrial experience in designing special purpose grinding machines. Prof Shah has guided more than 20 PG dissertations. She has published 3 product patents in the area of robotics at Indian Patent Office. She has presented/published more than 20 papers in journals/ international conferences and proceedings in the area of design and dynamics. Her area of interest includes Robotics, Fracture mechanics, CAD, Design and Dynamics, and Vibration analysis.
