Dr Digesh Joshi is working as an Assistant Professor in Civil Engineering Department since June 2011. He has completed BTech degree in Civil Engineering in 2008, MTech degree in Computer Aided Structural Analysis and Design (CASAD) in 2010 and PhD degree in 2018 from Nirma University. Dr Joshi has several publications in referred journals and conferences at national and international level. He has received Best Paper Award from Indian Building Congress, New Delhi in 2015 and The Institution of Engineers (IEI) in 2020. Dr Joshi has completed major and minor research projects funded by SERB-DST, New Delhi and Nirma University. Currently, he is a investigator for research project funded by SERB under the scheme of State University Research Excellence (SURE). Dr Joshi is one of the inventor for patent granted by Indian Patent Office. He has reviewed technical articles for several journals and conferences. Apart, he has guided a number of student projects at UG and PG level. His research interest include analysis and design of precast concrete structures, progressive collapse analysis and design of structures, retrofitting of structures, experimental techniques, sustainable structural engineering etc.
