• Prof Dipak Adhyaru is associated with Nirma University since 1998. At present, he is the Professor of EI department and Head of B.Tech. First Year Programmes of the Institute of Technology, Nirma University. Dr. Adhyaru was the head of the department of Instrumentation and Control Engineering during 2010-2020. Prof Adhyaru has received PhD degree in Electrical Engineering with specialization in Control Systems from Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi in 2010. Dr Adhyaru has three years of industry experience before joining Nirma University. He has published research papers in several international journals and conferences. He has also written a book on Robust Control. He has published one patent on ?Smart Modbus Protocol Based Device?. He has guided several BTech and MTech projects related to Instrumentation and Control engineering. At present, he is guiding three PhD students in the area of Control and Automation. Two students have completed their PhD under his guidance. His areas of research are Nonlinear Systems, Industrial Automation and Soft Computing Applications in Control Engineering. Dr Adhyaru has carried out consultancy projects for industries in the area of Process Automation and Product Development. He has delivered expert talks at several industries and institutions. He has carried out many training programmes for industries and academia in the field of Instrumentation and Control Engineering. He has received an ISTE Award for the Best Teacher for Engineering Colleges- Gujarat state in 2018. He chaired many technical sessions during International conferences. Dr Adhyaru also chaired the 4th Nirma University International Conference on Engineering (NUiCONE) 2013 technically co-sponsored by IEEE.
