Water and Wastewater Treatment, Development of Topical nanoformulation and its characterisation, Environmental Accounting and Auditing , Application of Nanotechnology
Dr. Indrajeet Kumar is an Assistant Professor in Civil Engineering Department since July 2023. He obtained B.Tech degree in Civil Engineering from School of Engineering, Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT), Kochi in 2012 and M.Tech degree in Civil (Environmental) Engineering from National Institute of Technology (NIT) Patna in 2015. He completed his doctoral research and obtained Ph.D degree in 2021 from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur, West Bengal. His doctoral research area was disinfection of poultry farm drinking water using silver nanoparticle disinfectant. He has academic experience of two years at GPERI-GTU, Ahmedabad and SVNIT Surat, prior to joining at Nirma University. Dr. Kumar has published six international journal papers and one international conference paper. He is actively involved in testing and consultancy work related to drinking water and wastewater quality. He is teaching subjects like Environmental Engineering, Environmental Studies, Building and Town Planning at the undergraduate level.
