About
Prof Jahanvi Suthar is working as an Assistant Professor at Civil Engineering Department since 2009. She has obtained bachelor degree in Civil Engineering as well ME degree in Structural Engineering from Birla Vishvakarma Mahavidyalaya, Sardar Patel University, Valllabh Vidyanagar in the year 2006 and 2010, respectively. Currently, she is pursuing PhD degree in the area of ?Performance Based Design of Reinforced Concrete Buildings? from Nirma University. Prof Jahanvi has published papers with international and national conferences. She has guided more than ten students for MTech (CASAD) major projects. She is a life member of professional bodies like Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE) and Indian Society of Earthquake Technology (ISET). She is involved in teaching various courses at under graduate and post graduate level. She is involved in minor research project funded by the University. Her areas of research include Seismic analysis and design of reinforced concrete structures and Performance based seismic design of reinforced concrete structures.
