Prof. Karri V. V. Satyanarayana has been serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering since May 2017. He received his Ph.D. from Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology (SVNIT), Surat. He obtained his B.Tech. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Kakinada Institute of Engineering and Technology, affiliated with Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Hyderabad, in 2006, and his M.Tech. with a specialization in Power Electronics from BVC Engineering College, affiliated with JNTU, Kakinada, in 2012.
His research interests include Power Electronics, Electrical Drives, Flexible AC Transmission Systems (FACTS), Power Quality, Harmonic Mitigation Techniques, DC Microgrids, High-Gain DC–DC Converters, and Multilevel Inverters. He is a Life Member of the Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE).
