About
Dr. Madhvi Ramrakhiyani is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Nirma University. She holds a Ph.D. from Dhirubhai Ambani University and has over eight years of teaching experience.
Prior to joining Nirma University, Dr. Ramrakhiyani served at the Institute of Infrastructure, Technology, Research and Management (IITRAM), Ahmedabad; as an Assistant Professor at Vishwakarma Institute of Technology (VIT), Pune; and as an Assistant Professor at LJ Institute of Engineering & Technology, Ahmedabad.
Her research interests include Social Network Analysis, Complex Networks, Epidemic Spread and Rumor Propagation, Machine Learning, and Graph Neural Networks. Her research contributions include publications in high-impact journals and international conferences, comprising one Q1 journal paper, Scopus-indexed journal paper, conference papers, and poster presentations at top-tier international conferences.
Dr. Ramrakhiyani has received several prestigious recognitions for her research, including the Best Poster Presentation Award at the NetSci-X Conference held at IIT Indore (2025), the Research Excellence Award 2025 from Dhirubhai Ambani University, and a EUR 2,000 Student Grant to attend the NetSci Conference in the Netherlands (2025). She remains actively engaged in teaching and research, with a focus on applying data-driven methods and network science approaches to solve real-world graph and network problems.
