Md. Kamar Raza is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the Institute of Technology, Nirma University, Ahmedabad, since July 2025. He holds an M.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering from NIT Jalandhar (2023) and a B.Tech. from Darbhanga College of Engineering, Bihar (2019). Before joining Nirma University, he worked as a Software Development Engineer at Freecharge Payment Technologies Pvt. Ltd., Mumbai.
His research interests include cybersecurity, machine learning, cloud computing, and intelligent systems, and he has authored a book chapter titled “Phishing Attack Detection for Cloud-Based Environment Using Hybrid Machine Learning Model” (Taylor & Francis, 2024).
