Dr Mehul R Naik is an Associate Professor in the Electronics and Communication Engineering Department. At the university level, he is serving as the Director, International Relations; and the Head, Centre for Entrepreneurship. He has an experience of Research and Development in US Telecom and RF industries of 15 years that includes serving as an RF Design Engineer in Synergy Microwaves Corporation, New Jersey, USA for 4 years and then as a Member of Technical Staff in Bell Labs Lucent Technologies, New Jersey, USA for 11 years; and an academic experience of 16 years. After graduating high school from Sheth C N Vidyavihar, Ahmedabad; he obtained BE degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering in 1990 from L D College of Engineering, Gujarat University, Ahmedabad; ME in Electrical Engineering in 1993 from Stevens Institute of Technology, New Jersey, USA; and PhD in RF Circuit Design in 2015 from Kadi Sarva Vishwavidyalaya, Gandhinagar. He has presented research papers at international IEEE conferences in the areas of RF Design and Communication Systems Design. He has been actively involved with internships of students in industries and guiding them towards their Major Projects and dissertations. He is the member of IETE, ISTE, and IEEE. His current research interests include specifically RF circuit design, RF radiation effects, and in general communication system analysis and design.
