Dr Milind Joshipura is currently working as Professor and Head in Chemical Engineering Department . He has experience of more than 20 years in the fields of teaching and research. He obtained his BE degree from DDIT, Nadiad in 2000 and ME degree from the MS University of Baroda in 2002. Dr Joshipura received his PhD degree from Nirma University in 2011. He has an Indian patent on biodiesel production process to his credit. He has published more than 20 research papers in the areas of phase equilibrium, modeling and simulations, property predictions, etc. in international refereed journals and presented/published more than 30 papers in international conferences/proceedings with h-index 7 and i-10 index of 6. He has successfully completed two research projects as PI funded by GUJCOST in the areas of biodiesel production and property determinations. He has guided more than 10 PG dissertations and 02 PhD scholars. At present he is guiding one PhD scholar. He won national award for third best paper published in Indian Chemical Engineer journal in the year 2010. The ISTE-IPCL award for guiding best MTech thesis was conferred on him in the year 2014. He is a life member of various institutes like IIChE, ISTE and IEI. Dr Joshipura is actively involved in the environmental audit of various chemical industries.
