Dr Motilal Panigrahi is working as Assistant Professor in Department of Mathematics since last July 2021. Also worked as Associate Professor in Department of Mathematics and Humanities since 2017-2021. He has experience of more than twenty six years in the field of teaching and research. He obtained his PhD degree from IIT Kharagpur in 2007. He has passed the scholarship tests of NBHM and CSIR-NET and also the eligibility test for lectureship. He has published research papers in reputed journals in the domain of fuzzy set theory, convex fuzzy optimization, differentiability of fuzzy functions, intuitionistic fuzzy sets and generalized intuitionistic fuzzy sets, and generalized ideals with triangular norm. He has participated in numerous workshops, summer and winter schools funded by NBHM and DAE. Dr Panigrahi has also participated and presented research papers in various National and International conferences. His research area is fuzzy set theory and its applications and convex optimization techniques.
