  • Dr Nagendra Gajjar is working as Professor in Electronics and Communication Engineering Department since March 1998. He has an experience of more than 29 years in the field of teaching, research and industry. He obtained his BE degree in Electronics Engineering from BVM Engineering College, Sardar Patel University, Vallabh Vidya Nagar in 1990 and MTech degree in Computer Applications from IIT, Delhi in 2002. Dr Gajjar obtained his PhD from Nirma University in 2013. He is serving as PG programme coordinator, Embedded Systems since 2012. He has published more than fifteen research papers in the area of Embedded and VLSI Design in international refereed journals and presented/published more than thirty papers in international conferences/proceedings. He has guided more than forty PG dissertations. He is guiding three doctoral scholars. He has successfully completed a funded research project for ISRO and working on a funded research project for DRDO. The ISTE National Award – CVM, Gujarat award for best engineering college teacher in Gujarat state for the year 2005 was conferred on him. He is a member of Board of Studies in Electronics and Communication Engineering for Gujarat Technological University Gandhinagar, BVM Engineering College V. V. Nagar, Sankalchand Patel University, Visnagar. He conducted training programs in the field of Digital Signal Processing, Python, Embedded Systems, MATLAB and Image Processing, Cyber Security for Embedded Systems, and Reconfigurable Computing for ISRO Scientists and Navy officers. His research interest include VLSI signal processing, processor architecture, reconfigurable computing, high performance computing and machine learning for embedded systems. He is life member of IEEE, IETE, ISTE, CSI and ISRS. He has served as Chair, IEEE Communication Society Chapter, Gujarat Section from 2014 to 2018.
