Dr N M Devashrayee is working as a Professor (Contractual) in Computer Science & Engineering Department. He has wide research experience of over 25 years as a scientist in CEERI Pilani in the area of Microelectronics, Sensors and Solid State Devices. He obtained MSc (Applied Physics) degree from M. S. University Baroda in 1977 and Ph D (VLSI) from Kurukshetra University in1990. He is recipient of Raman Research Fellowship to participate in Post Doctorate study programme at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute Troy, NY USA for one year. He is PG Coordinator of VLSI Design programme from 2003. He has published more than 100 research papers in National and International Journals and conferences in the area of microelectronics and VLSI. He has successfully executed three research projects funded by ISRO and GUJCOST in the area of VLSI. He has developed Polymers which work against the radiation and could be used as a packaging material for VLSI circuits for Space Applications as a part of interdisciplinary research. He also has two Indian patent to his credit. He has guided more than eighty PG dissertations. He has guided nine doctoral scholars. He has served as the member of Board of Studies and Faculty of Technology & Engineering of CHARUSAT University, Changa. He is also a member of Academic Council of Nirma University. Dr Devashrayee is a reviewer of international refereed journals in the field of Microelectronics and VLSI Design and Technology. His research interest include VLSI Design and Technology, Microelectronics, Sensors and Solid State Devices.
