Dr Paramasivan S Vellala is working as Assistant Professor with Department of Humanities and Social Science-HSS. He joined Nirma University in the year 2006. He is UGC-NET qualified in Economics in the year 2006. He obtained his Ph. D from Indian Institute of Management, Mumbai (NITIE) in the year 2017 in the area of Development Economics. He has published research papers in reputed research journals in domains like public policy and inclusive economic growth. He has contributed many research papers in national and international conferences. His research interest includes evaluating public policy and inclusive growth outcome in the area of development economics. His book on Inclusive Growth: Indian Perspective, has been well appreciated in the academic world - the foreword has been written by Eminent Economist Dr. Y.K Alagh. Currently one student - Ms Khevana Agarwal is pursuing her Ph.D under his guidance/supervision in the area of Behavioural Economics.
