About
Dr. Parul Pandey is an Assistant Professor of English at the Institute of Technology, Nirma University, Ahmedabad. She was a full time research scholar and was awarded the Ph.D in English in September 2025 from Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology (SVNIT), Surat, and a Master’s degree in English from the Central University of Gujarat. She has qualified the UGC-NET and the Gujarat State Eligibility Test (GSET) in English. Her doctoral research area was English language and employability skills.Her research interests span applied linguistics, English Language Teaching (ELT), employability skills, rhetoric and discourse analysis, contemporary literature, media and cultural studies. Dr. Pandey has published research articles in Scopus and Web of Science indexed journals and has presented her work at several prestigious national and international conferences, including those organized by the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs). She also serves as a reviewer for several Scopus-indexed journals. Currently, Dr. Pandey is engaged in collaborative research papers and book initiatives with faculty members from the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs). Alongside her academic responsibilities, she is actively seeking opportunities to engage with industry as a soft skills trainer, ensuring her teaching and research are informed by current professional practices.
