About
Dr. Parul Pandey is an Assistant Professor of English at the Institute of Technology, Nirma University, Ahmedabad. She was awarded a PhD (Full Time) in English in September 2025 from Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology, Surat (SVNIT Surat), and holds a Master's degree in English from the Central University of Gujarat. She has qualified the UGC-NET and the Gujarat State Eligibility Test (GSET) in English. She has 2.5 years of teaching experience.
Her research interests include English Language Teaching, Employability Skills, Communication Skills, Applied Linguistics, and Media and Culture Studies. Dr. Pandey has published papers in Scopus- and Web of Science (ESCI)-indexed journals, contributed a book chapter to a Springer publication, and presented her work at several prestigious national and international conferences, including those organized by the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs). She also serves as a reviewer for several Scopus-indexed journals.
Alongside her academic responsibilities, she actively seeks opportunities to engage with industry as a corporate trainer, ensuring that her teaching and research are informed by current professional practices.
