Prof (Dr.) Prashant J Bagga is working as Assistant Professor in the Mechanical Engineering Department. He received Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from Saurashtra University in 1997 and MTech degree in Mechanical Engineering (with specialization in Computer Integrated Manufacturing) from Nirma University in 2016. He also obtained MTech degree in Computer and IT, from MS University, Tirunelvelli, Tamilnadu in 2012. He obrained Ph.D degree from Nirma University in the area of tool condition monitoring in 2024. He has more than twenty five years of teaching experience. Dr. Bagga successfully completed minor research projects funded by Nirma University in the area of tool condition monitoring. He has published/presented several papers in journals and conferences. He has coordinated and conducted training programs for academic and industry personnel. He is life member of Space Society for Mechanical Engineers and Indian Society for Technical Education. His research interest includes tool condition monitoring, computer vision and condition monitoring of machinery,
