Dr Ratna Rao is working as Assistant Professor in Department of Humanities and Social Science from August 2016. She has an experience of more than twenty five years in the field of teaching and training. She has published papers in the field of comparative literature, feminism, communication skills, and pedagogy. She is presently serving as Board of Studies member at Nirma University.Her research interests include English language teaching, activity based teaching, feminist literature, communication skills and Digital Humanities. She is currently working on a Nirma university project on Nizar Bhil with reference to their folk songs and other cultural aspects. She completed a project titled "A Digital Humanities Project on Study of Presence and Problems of Gendered Language in Digital World (Computer Mediated Communication) with special reference to Political Reporting using AI."
