Dr Rudresh Makwana is working as Assistant Professor in Mechanical Engineering Department since 2013. He did his PhD from Nirma University with a thesis on "Formability analysis of AA5052 alloy in single point incremental hole flanging process". He obtained the degree of Masters in Engineering with specialization in CAD/CAM from Gujarat Technological University in 2011. Dr Makwana has been investigator of 4 research projects funded by Nirma University. He has guided more than 20 student projects at UG/PG level. He has published many papers in international journals and presented many papers at international conferences. He is faculty advisor of Mechanical Engineering Students Association and is involved in coordinating various extra curricular and extension activities. He is teaching Material Science & Engineering, CNC Technology & Programming and Engineering Drawing.
