Prof Sapan Mankad is working as an Assistant Professor in Computer Science and Engineering Department. He has more than 20 years of teaching experience. Prof Mankad received his BE degree in Information Technology from VVP Engineering College in 2004 and MTech degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Nirma University in 2011. He did his PhD in the field of Speech Processing using Machine Learning from Nirma University in 2021. His research interests include Audio and Speech Processing, Voice Biometrics, Machine Learning and Music Information Retrieval. He is one of the core members of Centre of Excellence in Data Science at the CSE Department. He has several publications to his credit. He has been actively involved in organization of various workshops and events related to fields such as Speech Processing, Probability, Statistics and Machine Learning.
