About
Dr Saurin Parikh is working as an Associate Professor in Computer Science and Engineering Department. He has more than 20 years of teaching, research and Industry experience. Dr Parikh received his Bachelor of Science from Gujarat University, Master of Computer Application from Gujarat Vidyapith and PhD from Florida Atlantic University, USA. Currently, Dr Parikh is serving as ISTE Faculty Chapter Coordinator, School of Technology and ACM Student chapter Advisor. Dr Parikh has a US patent and Indian Patent published and has received research project funding from Nirma University and GUJCOST. He received the prestigious ACM travel award to attend 50 years of Turing Awards celebrations, two research poster awards in the year 2017 and one best paper award. In the past, Dr Parikh has served as the member of Board of Studies - Department of Computer Science and Engineering, worked as committee member of CSI - Ahmedabad chapter and Rotary Club - Ahmedabad Metro. Dr Parikh has many publications to his credit. Dr Parikh played a key role for the implementation of Google apps and Blogging in the Nirma University campus and as project lead had developed software solutions for Institute of Technology, Nirma University and Department of CEECS, FAU. He is a reviewer for many International scopus indexed journals in the field of Multimedia, Image processing etc. Dr Parikh has taught several courses at Florida Atlantic University, USA and has been invited to deliver lectures at workshops/seminars. He has conducted several ISTE funded/approved STTPs and CCE program on latest tools and technologies. He is a member of IEEE, ACM and life member of ISTE and CSI.
