Dr. Shanker D. Godwal is working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at the Institute of Technology, Nirma University.
He completed his B.E. degree in Electrical Engineering from SKIT & Management, affiliated with University of Rajasthan in 2005. He obtained his M.Tech. degree in Power Systems from Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute, affiliated with University of Mumbai in 2010.
Dr. Godwal completed his Ph.D. in 2024 from Charotar University of Science and Technology. His doctoral research was titled “Optimum Overcurrent Relays Coordination for Interconnected Power System.”
He has published and presented several research papers in reputed journals and conferences. He has successfully guided 14 postgraduate and 26 undergraduate students in their major projects.
His areas of interest include Electrical Power Systems, Power System Protection, and Power System Stability. He is a life member of the Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE).
