About
Dr. Shivani Pandya completed her PhD as a full-time research scholar at Nirma University, specializing in Explainable Artificial Intelligence (XAI) in healthcare with a focus on autism detection and intervention. She holds an M.Tech in Computer Science from Birla Vishvakarma Mahavidyalaya, Vidhyanagar. She is currently working as an Assistant Professor (Contractual) at Nirma University, where she combines teaching with active research in Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), and XAI. Her research emphasizes the development of transparent, interpretable, and trustworthy AI models for healthcare applications. During her doctoral research, she authored two SCIE-indexed journal publications and presented her work at several national and international conferences.
