Dr Smita Agrawal is working as an Assistant Professor in Computer Science and Engineering Department since 2009. She has a teaching experience of over 19 years. She received her Master of Computer Applications degree from Gujarat Vidhyapith in 2004. She completed her doctoral studies in the field of Big Data Analytics from CHARUSAT University in 2019. She holds the prestigious membership of the IEEE (SMIEEE) and is a distinguished member of the Indian Society for Technical Education (LMISTE). Dr. Agrawal has been making significant contributions to the field of Computer Science, specializing in areas such as Big Data Analytics, Graph Database, Parallel Processing, Machine Learning, and Healthcare. As a faculty member at Nirma University, Dr. Agrawal has been actively engaged in research and teaching. Her expertise spans across various domains, including Predictive Maintenance Systems, Community Detection Algorithms, Machine Learning Models for Predicting Delays in Passenger Airlines, and Game-based Resource Allocation for Secure UAV Communication in Wireless Networks. Dr. Agrawal has an impressive publication record, with her work appearing in reputable Scopus/SCIE-indexed journals and conferences. Dr Smita has conducted ISTE approved short-term training Programme in the field of Web Services using PHP. She is involved in teaching courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. She also serves as a member of the Programme committees and session chair for international conferences and as a reviewer for indexed international journals.
