Dr Sumedha Arora is currently working as an Assistant Professor in Computer Science Engineering Department at Nirma University, Ahemdabad, Gujrat. She is PhD from Department of Computer Science and Engineeing, Thapar University, Patiala, India in field of cloud computing and machine learning. During her PhD she has been awarded with the Senior Research Fellowship (SRF) from Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), Government of India. She received her MTech from Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar in the research area of Big Data and Btech from Punjab Technical University (PTU). She has published 5 SCI papers in reputed journals and attended 6 international journals. She has 1 patent granted and 1 book chapter. She has 7.5 of total teaching experience. During her teaching career she has worked as an Assistant Professor (Senior Grade) with Jaypee University of Information Technology (waknaghat), Chandigarh University. She has also worked a full time visiting assistant professor at Kerala University of Digital Science Information and Technology, Kerala. She has received International Travel Grant(ITG) of 2 Lacs from Science & Engineering Research Board (SERB), Govt of India to present her paper in Italy. Some of her research interests includes cloud computing, Energy Efficient Datacenters, Big Data, Machine Learning, Internet of Things, UAVs and Data Analytics. She has guided 3 MTech students till now.
