Dr Swati Jain is working as an Associate Professor in Computer Science and Engineering Department, Nirma University, Ahmedabad, India. She has academic experience of more than 23 years. She has received her BTech in Computer Engineering from Bhopal and M Tech and Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from Nirma University. She is a gold medalist in MTech. She works in the area of Machine Learning, Data Analytics, and Deep Learning. She has worked on five funded research projects, two of them are funded under BRNS (Board for Research In nuclear science)- Department of Atomic Energy and three by the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO). Both are leading and successful research organizations in India.. She is currently working on four funded research projects two of them as Principle investigator and CO-PI in other two. She has conducted a customized training program on Big Data Analytics and Machine Learning for Scientists of the Indian Space Research Organization, officers of Indian Navy and IT industry. She received a faculty fellowship and worked for 5 weeks at SUNY, Binghamton, New York in 2019. She with other faculty members of the department coordinates activities of CoE (Data Science) in the department, in collaboration with SUNY Binghamton, New York. Dr Jain is also coordinating BTech curriculum design at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering. She is PG coordinator for the M Tech (Data Science) Program in CSE department in Data Science Specialization
