About
I am working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering, Institute of Technology, Nirma University, Ahmedabad. My research interests include: Water Distribution Networks, Optimization, Reliability Assessment, Evolutionary Algorithms. I received my Ph.D. in Civil Engineering (Specialization: Water Resources Engineering) from Indian Institute of Technology Bombay and M.Tech. in Water Resources Engineering from Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology Nagpur, India and B.E. in Civil Engineering from Bhilai Institute of Technology, Durg, Chhattisgarh, India.
Currently I am working on enhanced flood inundation mapping using high resolution satellite imagery. I am also interested in topics such as assessment of climate change impact on the performance of Water Distribution Networks.
