Prof Tejal Upadhyay is working as an Assistant Professor in Computer Science and Engineering Department. She has more than 27 years of teaching experience. She has received her BE degree in Computer Engineering from L D College of Engineering under Gujarat University in 1996 and ME (Computer Engineering) degree from Dharamsinh Desai University, Nadiad in 2004. Her PhD is from Charusat Science and Technology University, Changa. The research interest includes Compiler Design, Algorithm Analysis and Bioinformatics. She has taught courses like Theory of Computation, Design and Analysis of Algorithms, Design Thinking, Compiler Design at undergraduate level and Algorithms and Compilers as postgraduate level.
She is a coordinator for Societal Activities under the institute of Technology. She is a student branch councellor of Computer Society of India, student branch Nirma University since 2005.
