About

  • Dr. Tripti Singh Rajput earned her Ph.D. in Civil Engineering (Construction Technology and Management) from IIT Bombay (2019–2025). Her doctoral research developed a framework to optimize energy efficiency and indoor environmental quality in naturally ventilated and mixed-mode buildings using energy simulations, Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), and sensing technologies. She holds an M.E. in Infrastructure Engineering and Management from BITS Pilani and a B.E. (Honours) in Civil Engineering from O.P. Jindal Institute of Technology. Dr. Rajput has taught as contractual faculty at NIT Raipur and Government Engineering College, Bilaspur. Her research focuses on sustainable building design, thermal comfort, energy optimization, and CFD applications in building performance. She has received multiple awards, including the Best Paper Award at the Student Academic Conference, Inter IIT Tech 13.0 (Dec 2024), for her work on the thermal performance of walling systems in low-income housing, which also gained a range of national media coverage. She was awarded the “R Subramanian Fellowship” by the Glazing Society of India (2023–2024) for research on optimizing glazing parameters. Earlier, she won the Best Paper Award at ICRDSI 2020 for an ANN-based framework to optimize the window-to-wall ratio. Dr. Rajput has contributed to multiple peer-reviewed international journals and conferences with research focusing on energy and indoor environmental quality optimization, thermal comfort assessment, and passive design strategies. She has also authored a book chapter published in the Lecture Notes in Civil Engineering series by Springer. She was involved in several successful sponsored research projects during her Ph.D. tenure in collaboration with prominent organizations such as the Indian National Science Academy (INSA), the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India, and the IC-Impacts Network in Canada.
