Prof. U. A. Patel is associated with Electrical Engineering Department and Institute of Technology since inception of Institute of Technology. He has total teaching experience of more than 41 years. He has worked as Head of Electrical Engineering Department for more than 11 years. Under his leadership, the Electrical Engineering Programme got 'A' grade by National Board of Accreditation of AICTE, New Delhi in 2001. Under his coordinatorship, Department received the grant of Rs. 5 lacs under the MODROB scheme of AICTE in January 2006 for the modernization of Power Electronics Laboratory. He has worked as Chief Coordinator, Examination in Institute of Technology (IT), Nirma University (NU). He has written three books and have authored eight national and international conference papers.
