Prof Utsav Koshti joined the Civil Engineering Department in 2014 and working as an Assistant Professor. He has obtained Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering from Dharmsinh Desai University, Nadiad in 2007 and Master degree in Computer Aided Structural Analysis and Design (CASAD) from Nirma University in 2011.
He has completed his PhD degree in the area of Seismic response control of steel structures from Nirma University. Prof Koshti has professional experience related to structural design of industrial structures as well as execution of infrastructure projects. He has professional experience of five years with organisations like Adani Power Limited, Mundra; VMS Engineers, Ahmedabad and Bhagwati Associates, Mumbai. He deals with subjects related to structural engineering like, design of steel structures, mechanics of solids and advanced design of steel structures at UG and PG level. His areas of research include seismic response control of steel structures, analysis and design of steel structural components/Structures, marine structures and cement plant structures.
