Kadam, the National Service Scheme (NSS) unit of the Institute of Technology, organised a 7 day residential camp from February 24, 2020 to March 01, 2020 at Miroli village in the state of Gujarat. Forty NSS students participated in a variety of social activities for the development of the village. The students rallied around the village and invited them to join the campaign. The students along with the villagers cleaned the whole village spick and span and also surveyed on waste management, education and general awareness level about government schemes and benefits. On the third day, the NSS students organized a funfair for the villagers in which they collected funds, set up the stalls and managed the crowd. Other activities that kept the students on toes were beautifying the village, tree plantation and wall paintings. The camp concluded on a high note with prize distribution felicitation ceremony along with a drama staged by the camp participants.
