Abstract: The main concept was to develop the 2D Robotic Plotter is to make a cheap PCB printer for the academic purpose. The Plotter is made using the waste CD and DVD drives in the old CPUs. The plotter essentially have 2 axis X and Y. So first the PCB design is made then the design is to be converted to the X and Y co-ordinates with the z coordinate denoting weather to print or not. Then whole design is passed to the controller. The controller controls the 2 steeper motor which control x and y axis and a copper pen flow. The objective was to fast prototype the design on the PCB.
