Abstract: Smart mirror can revolutionize morning experience of working class people. Routine commuters with fast life can have better time management and more convenient way of accessing information like daily schedule, meeting times, weather forecast, navigation, quick news, etc. With smart mirror, people will be able to do more while getting ready. In this project a smart mirror is designed, developed and tested using Raspberry Pi, LCD Screen, Partially reflective mirror, Google Voice Kit, USB Webcam and PIR sensor. The mirror displays the current time, weather forecast of the current day and next few days, headlines of newspaper, daily schedule which is synced to Google calendar. User can set morning alarm and can set important reminders in the mirror. The mirror is able to detect and recognize user and allow user to setup their personal profiles.
